Today was fancy friday, I wore my turquoise salwaar kameez. What is the occasion, you might ask. Well, we had our first exam today. Additionally this marks the end of our first full week of classes. This evening we went to see Raavan, a bollywood film, in theatres. It was very fun. The music and cinematography were great. Also whoever invented the intermission is a genius! Every movie should have one. It occurs exactly when I usually have to decide if I have to pee badly enough to leave the theatre. This way I just get to go. And you can have snacks! Violet, Is that outfit particularly cool (we know it is "cool")? All cotton? What shoes do you wear? - Patty
ReplyDeleteI try to buy everything in cotton. This particular outfit is a bit hotter because it's thick but the Indians are magicians when it comes to minimizing heat in lots of clothing and minimizing pit (and back and chest) stains. The shoes I am wearing are leather sandals that I bought for 125 rupees (around 3 dollars). They are beautiful and very comfortable.
